Tarot

I’ve been dappling in tarot readings for years. I bought this simple starter set from Barnes and Noble years ago and only knew one spread. It’s been a fun party trick to bring out and “read fortunes”.

Lately, with my life seeming so chaotic, I’ve started doing more research and background on tarot. I decided that I’m going to do different spreads, and I’ve even found on Pinterest a daily tarot reading and recording my findings.

The other night, upset with my lack of romantic prospects, I just want to know when am I going to find the love of my life? So half curious/half serious, I turned to the tarot. And with that spread it pretty much said “Work on yourself, be patient” and the nail in the coffin “It’s not happening any time soon”.

Look out for more posts that will have some spreads and some of my interpretation for them.

  1. People find it odd to place your faith or concern in something like this, but I find it quite soothing to find an answer outside of your own mind and its back-and-forth scenarios playing out in my head. I place quite a bit of faith, and trust in the answers and follow its advice.
