I don’t usually get sick. And back in the day, when I would get sick, I would shrug it off. The last time I got bronchitis, it was a walk in the park while everyone looked horrified.
Now, I’m the biggest baby. I have a slight cold and I feel like I’m out of commission. I feel like the biggest baby in the world when I’m sick now. And I ask myself “How? How did I do this before?”
I think the answer is age. It’s much like a long night of drinking and waking hungover or completely normal. Once you reach a certain age, hangovers become more and more worse. And again, at least for me, unbearable.
