Credit Card

I’ve been trying to treat myself (thanks to some of my weight loss due to my Fitbit). But I’m having to go through my clothes and throw away a chunk of it since it’s been worn out. (I’m the type of person that will keep clothes for many, many years… my favorite t-shirt that should have been thrown out five years ago is about fifteen years old)

So I got a lot of basic stuff… like new pants, leggings, cardigans, a jacket, underwear, a couple work appropriate tops and some new t-shirts.

Well, since I’ve been doing so well on saving money and not spending alot of my credit card, the first transaction I did I got a notification from the credit card company asking if I charged my card. I followed the instructions to show YES, I’m treating myself.

So the next online store I went to, same thing. IS THIS A FRAUDULENT CHARGE? No, you asshole. I’m treating myself.

The last store, my credit card declined the transaction. So I ended up using my other card for it, but seriously. I was so pissed about it. Like, I’m glad that they are checking on my account to make sure that it’s not a fraudulent charge. But seriously, this was all done within a span of 45 minutes. I get the first one due to the amount that was charged… but I have more on my credit limit, so why are you policing and shutting my card temporarily down because the company thinks it’s fraud? It’s so bizarre.

But with all that being said, I got some cute and practical stuff. I’m super stoked about it.
